 It's an OK book but..., 2008-06-21
I bought this book by accident I really wanted the complete third edition not a pocketbook size highlights book. I'd have returned it but it wasn't worth the effort. Buy the 776 page Third Edition - the fourth edition has a few pages more and is organized differently but I decided on the Third Edition (price was right.)

Prescription for nutritional healing: the a-z guide to supplements, 2008-06-09
I was diasappointed in this and the "sister" book. I found no information on herbs I have used for my IBS. I also found the layout of both books confusing. I was hoping for a complete list of all herbal products, their uses, contraindications, and dosages for maximum efficacy. I would have returned it, but needed it for a gift that week.

An excellent health resource, 2008-02-13
This is part of a large book, The Prescription for Nutritional Healing, and an excellent resource for information on supplements. Its small size makes it useful for taking to the store when looking for vitamins, etc.
